Q:    Where can I buy Rockin’ Rider toys?

A:      Visit our Find Our Toys page for a step-by-step explanation of how to use our website to find our products for sale online and in-store.  Products can also be purchased directly from us at our online Rockin’ Rider Shop!

Q:    How can I make my Rockin’ Rider toy talk and sing?

A:      The talking and singing sounds are activated by squeezing the buttons in the ears.  Please ensure fresh batteries are being used in your Rockin’ Rider toy.  You can also view our Sound Effects Troubleshooting video for more information.

Q:    How do I assemble my Rockin’ Rider Spring Horse?

A:      You can view and print our Spring Horse Manual or watch a 4-1/2 minute Assembly Video that details assembly and operation of your Rockin’ Rider Spring Horse.  Please visit our Video or Manual pages for more information.

Q:    Where is the battery compartment located on my Rockin’ Rider toy?

A:      On most toys, the battery compartment is located under a Velcro strip under the mane on the back of the head. On our Rocking Horses, Stable Horses, and Baby Rockers, it is located under a Velcro strip on the underside of the body of the horse.  You will need a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment.  Be sure not to mix old and new batteries and never mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. When you are finished replacing the batteries, securely fasten battery cover and screw, stick the battery box back into the pouch, and re-seal the Velcro strip.  You can also view our Sound Effects Troubleshooting video for more information.

Q:    How do I activate the motion-activated galloping on my Rockin’ Rider Spring Horse or Grow-with-Me Pony?

A:      Select Spring Horses and Grow-with-Me Ponies are equipped with motion-activated galloping.  On these select models you’ll find two switches on the battery compartment; one is the volume control and the other controls the sound effects settings.  All products ship with the sound effects setting switch set to TRY ME which only allows the sounds activated by the ears to play.  To activate the motion-activated galloping this switch needs to be set to ON.  Now sitting on the horse and bouncing up and down will active the galloping sounds!

Q:    How do I activate the animated features (nodding head, wiggling ears, and swishing tail) on my Rockin’ Rider Prince, Princess, or Legend Spring Horse?

A:      Prince, Princess, and Legend Spring Horses are equipped with animated features in addition to the synchronized moving mouth.  The nodding head, wiggling ears, and swishing tail will work when the ears are squeezed to play the sound effects but are deactivated when the toy is in TRY ME mode.  On these models you’ll find a switch on the battery compartment.  All products ship with the sound effects setting switch set to TRY ME which only allows the sounds and moving mouth to work.  To activate the additional animated features, this switch needs to be set to either the high or low volume setting, not to TRY ME.

Q:    What are the differences between the different Spring Horses?

A:      In addition to having different names and different colors, our Spring Horses also differ in the features and functions that they have.  Click here to see a handy chart we’ve made to help illustrate these differences.

Q:    Where can I find replacement springs or rubber bands for my Grow-with-Me Pony?

A:      Our Grow-with-Me Ponies no longer use rubber bands or springs – we’ve switched to a new elastic strap. This change makes assembly easier and simpler and it eliminates the need for the tubes and dowel caps as well.

These new elastic straps are compatible with all Grow-with-Me Pony models purchased in the past.

You can purchase replacement elastic straps on our website.

Please refer to the updated Grow-with-Me Pony manual so you can see how assembly has changed.
